On the evening of March 29, the Gannet Guard Systems headquarters received a notification of the misappropriation of Audi RS3 belonging to one of the car rental companies.
Despite damage to the GPS / GSM module by thieves, the car was located. For this purpose, radio signals from the second module included in the GanTotal monitoring system, installed in the vehicle, were used. The action of radiotracking allowed the GGS crew to follow the Audi moving in the border region with Germany. A person on duty at the Headquarters was constantly targeting successive police crews from several units. As a result, the RS3 was recovered. The police secured the tracks and the owner picked up the car a few hours after reporting. This is another proof of the effectiveness of the radio monitoring system.
